What the plant is like
Descriptions of the flowers disagree. Leafly’s growers report dense, curly buds with dark green foliage and fiery amber hairs, and G13 Labs promises large, heavy, compact flower heads, while Weedmaps says most cuts have fluffy, lean flowers.1,2,3 AllBud likens the buds to Styrofoam popcorn, and Barney’s Farm calls them super chunky and popcorn-shaped.4,8
What to watch for
Mostly the climate and the label. Leafly says it suits hot climates, Crop King recommends Mediterranean, continental or warm temperate zones, and Barney’s Farm claims its seed version is highly resistant to molds and diseases.1,4,5 Seeds sold under the name come from different crosses, so the listed parents matter when comparing a grow with the figures above (see genetics).9
Seeds and the law in the US
Under the amended federal definition of hemp, viable seeds from cannabis plants above 0.3% total THC, including THCA, are not hemp.10 Congress delayed that exclusion, with most of the new definition, from Nov 12 to Dec 11, 2026; only the exclusion of products with cannabinoids the plant cannot produce naturally starts on Nov 12.11 Home cultivation rules are set by each state. This site does not sell seeds.
